TEACHING ASSISTANT
Grade 4 (£23,500 - £23,893 – 39 weeks pro rata)
Temporary for 2 terms in the first instance
From January 2024 –  30 hours per week (8.30am – 3.15pm)

The Governors and Headteacher are looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to work across our school.

Starting in January 2024, the successful candidate must have experience of supporting children’s learning as well as their social and emotional needs. You should be warm, encouraging, patient and be dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all children.  NVQ Level 3 is an essential requirement of the position. The successful candidate will work across the primary and early years phases (3 days in our popular Preschool and 2 days in lower key stage 2). Experience of supporting children with special educational needs would be beneficial.

This position is offered on a temporary basis for two terms in the first instance, but may be extended depending upon the future requirements of the school.

Midday Assistants 01/24

Grade 2, £22.366 pro-rata, £11.59 per hour

1 x 6.25 hour vacancy

2 x 5 hour vacancy

Buglawton Primary School are looking to recruit enthusiastic, committed and kind Midday Assistants to help with lunchtime provision.  

You will be responsible for supervising and assisting children whilst they eat, as well as some basic serving duties.  On the playground, you will be responsible for promoting games and engaging with the children whilst ensuring that the school’s high standards of behaviour are maintained at all times.  At the end of lunchtime, you will be responsible for putting away tables and chairs and cleaning the hall.  

Hours of work are:

6.25 hour vacancy – 11.45am – 1.00pm, Monday to Friday

5 hour vacancies – 12.00noon – 1.00pm, Monday to Friday

The positions are term time only (38 weeks) and offered on a permanent basis from 1st January 2024.
