What I like about working here: The super friendly atmosphere and the children

My favourite book: Winnie the Witch and Bridget Jones' Diaries - the calamities she finds herself in!

What I like about working here: Everyone in my immediate family has been part of Buglawton now I get to be a part too!

What I like about working here: Working with all the fantastic children

My favourite book: Tess of the D'Urbervilles and Stanley the Amazing Knitting Cat

Hobbies: Crochet, painting, drawing, any arts and crafts really, reading, clay pigeon shooting, home interiors, walking and cuddling my dogs

Favourite food: Roast dinner!

If I was shipwrecked and I could have one luxury, it would be: A crochet hook and lots of yarn

How long I've been at Buglawton: Since Easter 2013

What I like about working here: The children and adults are so full of fun, warm and friendly. All the children have a super attitude to learning and I think we are blessed with a wonderful outside area which really enhances and supports learning. 

Favourite book: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and Kaspar by Michael Morpurgo

Hobbies: Travelling, clay pigeon shooting, Speedway, Moto GP, watching Stockport County with my step sons and husband, reading and home renovation (when we get the time).

Favourite foods: Roast dinner & avocado but not together! 

If I was shipwrecked and I could have one luxury, it would be: My family photo albums or a canoe!

Favourite website and why: Amazon  - you can buy most things on there! WWF as my eldest daughter Alex works in conservation and sites to do with babies as my daughter Ellie is due to have a baby in March.

How long I've been at Buglawton: This is my third year at Buglawton and I am looking forward  to working with everyone and experiencing the exciting opportunities Buglawton has to offer.

What I like about working here: I like the team spirit Buglawton has, with everyone striving to be the best they can be.

My favourite book: The Cat in the Hat

Hobbies: Drawing, painting, playing football, skiing, kayaking, rock climbing, swimming, walking my dog and spending time with my family.

Favourite food: Curry

If I was shipwrecked and I could have one luxury, it would be: My IPod so that I could listen to my music.

My favourite website and why: You Tube because there are hundreds of funny/ interesting videos to watch.

What I like about working here: I love the outdoor space at Buglawton, it's great to explore with the children, even in the winter months!

My favourite website and why: I have moved about lots in the last 12 years, so I love Facebook to keep in touch with friends and family who are now spread across all four corners of the country!

How long I've been at Buglawton: Since September 2016

What I like about working here: My first impression of Buglawton was how much of a friendly, family atmosphere it had. I felt a lovely sense of belonging and part of a team who cared about everyone in the school.

My favourite book: My favourite book is War Horse by Michael Morpurgo. I read it again recently to think about our topic ‘Is it right to fight?’ and remembered how much I had enjoyed it the first time. The book is a powerful story of humanity, bravery and friendship that will touch people of all ages.

Hobbies: I have four children so don’t have much time for hobbies outside of enjoying spending time with them, but I do like running and have recently completed a 10K run in 53 minutes which is my personal best.

Favourite food: My favourite food changes quite a lot I think. At the moment I like cooking and eating Greek food, but I also love visiting a Scandinavian restaurant in Macclesfield where the beetroot salad is delicious!

If I was shipwrecked and I could have one luxury, it would be: Definitely a photograph album of my family – I would be heartbroken without being able to see them.

My favourite website and why:Probably bbc iplayer – to catch up on all the TV that I miss when I’m marking books!! Pinterest - lots of pretty things to lust after, great ideas for things to make and somewhere to collect pictures of things I like

How long I've been at Buglawton: Since May 2015
 
What I like about working here: I love that every day is different, its always an adventure. Everyone works really hard, its a great team and fantastic children. One big happy family!
 
My favourite book it: I love books and read all sorts from craft, baking to classics. My favourite books are the Agatha Raisin mysterys by M C Beaton but I also love a chuckle with Julia Donaldson, Roald Dahl and adventures with Harry Potter.
 
Hobbies: I think I may have too many hobbies to list!! Crochet, knitting, patchwork, baking (especially cakes), yoga, gardening, bike riding and walking
 
My favourite food: Fresh baked bread, homemade pizza, anything veggie and my weakness chocolate.
 
If I was shipwrecked and I could have one luxury, it would be: My knitting needles and a good supply of wool if not a kayak!

My favourite book: I am a huge Potter fan, loved all the books but my favourite is The Deathly Hallows.

Favourite food: My favourite food is a hard one, there are very few foods I don't like, but I do like a good steak.

If I was shipwrecked and I could have one luxury, it would be: My Amazon Fire so that I could read - but I'd need a solar charger for it.

What I like about working here: Seeing the children learning and growing and the variety of my job role.
