Remote Learning

November 2020

We are delighted to share our Home Learning page: www.buglawton.co.uk which is the home for all home learning - particularly in the event of a class or whole school closure.

A home learning timetable has been shared with parents of what learning - including live lessons - will look like if pupils' class bubble is being taught at home.

October 2020

The Government's current restrictions mean that, in the event of a positive Covid-19 diagnosis within a class 'bubble', that bubble will close and remote learning will take place. To aid parents and pupils, this page aims to provide a guide on how to access remote learning should your child have to resume remote learning. Below are a series of videos with step by step instructions of the main elements of remote learning including how to upload or view assignments.

Alongside this, pupils are expected to access:

Click on each of the links above to access each element of supplementary home learning, which is expected to be completed at home both during times of remote learning and in-class learning.

What is my child’s Google username?

Every pupil is linked to our new @buglawton.co.uk domain.

1) Go to classroom.google.com and log in to your child’s new account

2) First name, surname initial, year of starting school                                                                     e.g. John Smith in Year 1 would be: johns19@buglawton.co.uk

If a child has two first names then these are included                                                          e.g. Olivia-Jane Jones in Year 2 would be:  Olivia-janej18@buglawton.co.uk

3) Enter the password that has been stuck into your child’s planner

4) You should now see your child’s Google Classroom, which is where any home    learning will be found alongside any announcements
