Time travellers visiting the lost world of the Cretaceous Jurassic and Triassic.



Scientists growing our own Jurassic plants and testing what they need to survive.



Artists learning how to shade and colour carefully.



Musicians using our bodies and objects to make monster music.



Writers:  dragon trap instructions, diary entries, stories, fact files and more.

Autumn TERM






‘World Kitchen’,




During the autumn term year 2 had the opportunity to explore the world of food.


We became researchers investigating healthy and unhealthy food.


We became chefs designing, creating and eating our own hand made pizzas.


We became explorers travelling into the fictional world of Hansel and Gretel.


We became designers making and tasting our own smoothies.


We became artists painting,, exploring and learning different art techniques.


We became travellers exploring the world and discovering the famous dishes that others eat.


We became writers: instructions, menus, stories, and more.


We had fun and worked together learning lots about the world around us.
